Well, the Fun in the Sun ride started at high noon for me. I left our big project at work in the capable hands of Sachindra and headed off to Haskell Texas.
We met Dave at 3:30PM to head off to Haskell.
Unfortunately I mistakenly left my wallet at home so I had to return home from Denton and then head off again. Poor Dave had to head on to Haskell alone. So we tried again and met up with Bo and Byron.
We were able to see some wind farms off in the distance. These are getting mor and more common but still are interesting to see.

We stopped and had dinner in Throckmorton. This is the court house. the restaurant was called Between the Forks. We happened to run into a fellow coming out of the bar who said this place was not friendly to bikers and we should watch out. He was sporting a brusied face and bleeding mouth... then he said "Just Joking!" and laughed. We were not sure but it was obvious he had just been hit in the mouth. We went on in anyway.
